The best overall reviews seem to go to iBank in first and MoneyDance in 2nd. The possible drawback is the reporting, which requires use of a scripting language for anything out of the ordinary. They recently relaunched as web-based with iOS apps, and are still ramping up new features (such as reports) which havent been released yet. However, still the best app in my book, and fantastic development team behind it. When I moved from MS Money I hated the iBank icons but now I come to love them. New custom reports let users compare income and spending, filtered by account(s) and a specified time period. Finally, Quicken Bill Pay lets users handle bills from within the app, though enrolling costs 9.95. Ive been extremely happy with it, and importing my Quicken data went quite smoothly. I dropped them a few years ago and went to Banktivity and never looked back. I wouldnt recommend Quicken to anyone, except maybe my expire. Here youre not going to get much in the way of sensible advice. ![]() The new owner has sent out emails and promised to make this app better, so now Ill be judging Quicken based on how it does from now on. ![]() Id like to narrow it down to 1 piece of software that does it for me, and since Quicken 2017 is now out, Ill try it and if I like where its going, Ill stop using the others.
